Adopt-A-Spot Program

Our current Adopt-a-Spot location is the 7-Acre Walking Trail located at the corner of Highway 185 and Black Bayou Road. This program offers individuals, groups, schools, and organizations the opportunity to partner with Keep Bloomington Beautiful in helping to maintain this public recreational space.

Participants who adopt this location commit to keeping the area clean and litter-free for a period of up to one year. Volunteers are encouraged to perform regular cleanups and light maintenance as needed to support the trail’s appearance and usability.

Adopting a spot is a meaningful way to contribute to the community and support environmental stewardship in Bloomington.
