Our mission is to enhance the quality of life in Bloomington through initiatives like community meal programs, affordable housing including caboose on hwy 185, wildlife preservation, and recreational facilities.
Our Zebra Sanctuary provides a safe habitat for zebras in bloomington texas, with open spaces, a pond, and vegetation for zebras to thrive, thanks to dedicated volunteers. It also offers educational opportunities, often being children's first live zebra encounter. This sanctuary promotes animal compassion and contributes to zebra preservation.
We sponsor Dorothy's hope kitchen food pantry, providing free meals to the community from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Additionally, the kitchen
operates a pantry that distributes food boxes and essential supplies to
families in need, ensuring no one in our community goes hungry.
Our walking trail is a cherished community space, frequented by walkers, joggers, bikers, and dog owners. It encourages physical activity, social
interaction, and mental well-being. Free and accessible to all, it provides an inclusive environment for people of all ages and income levels to enjoy nature and stay active.
We maintain a community picnic area with BBQ pits and a duck pond, providing a serene space for birthday parties and social gatherings. This area fosters a sense of togetherness in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
